For the social dancer
Social dancing at Monumental Ballroom is a fun way to find connection with your partner, whether you’re newly dating or looking for a hobby after the nest is empty. We call it our social dance program, because we teach traditional ballroom standards such as foxtrot, east coast swing, rumba, and tango, along with up-tempo club varieties such as hustle, salsa, and bachata.
Social dance lessons are offered in both a private and group format, allowing you to choose the learning method you prefer. Want to work out those two-left feet without an audience? We can do that. Want your friends along so you can laugh about it over dinner together? We can do that too!

Private Lessons
Our private lessons let you pick the dances you’re most interested in. At your consultation lesson, you’ll try out a few styles, and your instructor will get a feel for your starting level. From there we’ll build out a package designed to move you forward in your chosen styles. We have individual lesson and package pricing options available. Private lessons last 45 minutes.
Consultation lesson: $30
Steps & Style Individual Lesson: $70
Package pricing: $390/6 lessons
Group Lessons
Our group lessons offer value to beginner students who love the social aspects of dancing. Small groups designed for your level are offered twice a month, with the dance style changing monthly. You can begin with any group lesson and it’s a great way to kick off a fun date night! Group lessons last 1 hour and include learning new moves and time to practice on your own or try your lead and follow skills with others in your group.

Dance Party
Get a group of friends together and create your own dance party! We offer group lessons customized for what you want to learn, with a one-hour minimum. This is a fun activity for joint bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, reunions and more! Contact us for pricing.
