First Steps to Final Dip: Couples Share Their Wedding Dance Experience

At Monumental Ballroom, we can teach any couple to dance, even if you have 4 left feet between the two of you. Complete Beginners: Macy and Michael

Macy and Michael came in convinced they couldn’t dance, but they wanted to create a romantic vibe. They chose our Full Choreography Package—6 lessons to choreograph every step from entrance to final dip, including lifts and spins. They danced the Bachata to “Tuesdays” by Jack Scott. 

Not only did Macy and Michael create the romantic vibe they were hoping for, but their graceful first dance also reflected their beautiful connection.

A Little Previous Experience: Rebecca and Nic

Rebecca & Nic came in with some prior experience. One had participated in cotillion (an etiquette and social dance program) in middle school, and one had done a little swing dancing in college. Neither had any experience partner-dancing in a ballroom style. Their goal was to have fun and surprise their family with some new moves on the dance floor. They also chose our Full Choreography Package, and danced the foxtrot to “Infinity” by AJR.

During their first dance at Finley Creek Vineyards, there were quite a few cheers for their new moves. It was clear from every step that they were having the time of their lives on the dance floor.
